In 2007, the Stevensville Community Foundation became a member of the Montana Community Foundation, headquartered in Helena, MT. The Montana Community Foundation (MCF) is a philanthropic support organization offering donor services, endowment building opportunities and philanthropic advocacy. The Stevensville Community Foundation has placed its endowment under the supervision of MCF.

Through the power of permanently endowed funds, MCF will help us achieve our philanthropic goals and enable us to establish stable income sources today and in the future. In the broadest sense, the shared mission of our Foundation and MCF is to cultivate philanthropy and build the future of Stevensville, MT.

Supporting Your Wealth Management
The Montana Endowment Tax Credit is a great way to save money on your state income taxes. Individuals can get a 40% credit if they do a planned gift that benefits our endowment. Corporate gifts earn a 20% credit. In addition, all gifts to the Stevensville Community Foundation qualify for a federal charitable tax deduction. For those who can’t make an immediate gift, think about leaving a gift in your will or listing us a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan. Every gift you make to the Stevensville Community Foundation, large or small, immediate or deferred, creates a legacy for our community and creates a brighter future for everyone who lives here.
